Grantmaking
Give today to the Grand Blanc Community Fund and support homegrown philanthropy in the areas of arts and culture, community development, health and human services, and recreation. A local advisory committee meets throughout the year to review grant applications and advise funding to nonprofits exclusively benefiting the Grand Blanc area.
The Grand Blanc Community Fund was established in 1989 with $343,343 in assets from the former Grand Blanc Community Foundation. Ezra Perry led an effort in 1968 to create a permanent endowment for the community. Ezra Perry would be pleased that the Grand Blanc Community Fund he founded has remained solidly focused on its mission to “enhance the well-being and well-doing’ of the citizens living there.

Leaving a Legacy
Love for Grand Blanc
He was an athlete from Kentucky, she was the homecoming queen from Michigan. They met at Freed Hardeman University in Tennessee and eloped a few months later. For this young couple in love, it was a secret they kept while living in separate dorms. Sondra and Charles “Chuck” Creasey didn’t keep the secret for long.
